Hi, I’m Vincent.

I’m a French business developer, independent journalist, innovation analyst, and technology enthusiast currently based in Silicon Valley.

Professionally, I serve as the U.S. representative of a French technology company, helping develop its presence in the United States and working across areas including AI infrastructure, edge computing, data centers, hardware integration, and emerging technologies.

Alongside this role, I work as an independent journalist and writer through Notebook from the Valley, where I cover technology, innovation, major industry events, startups, infrastructure, and the broader Silicon Valley ecosystem.

I also serve as an innovation judge and analyst for major technology events and innovation awards in the United States, evaluating emerging technologies across areas such as AI, hardware, data centers, telecommunications, cybersecurity, defense, energy, and other advanced technology sectors.

Over the past several years, I have built experience across technology ecosystems ranging from immersion cooling and sustainable data center infrastructure to artificial intelligence, edge computing, and distributed systems.

In 2025, I moved from France to California to help develop my company’s presence in the United States and to better understand one of the world’s most influential innovation ecosystems.

Since then, I have spent countless hours attending and covering conferences, startup events, university lectures, research talks, product launches, and industry gatherings across Silicon Valley, California, and the United States, meeting founders, engineers, researchers, investors, students, and industry leaders who are actively shaping the future.

What started as professional curiosity quickly became something larger.

The more time I spent in Silicon Valley, the more fascinated I became not only by technology itself, but by the people, institutions, infrastructure, capital, and communities that make technological progress possible.

That curiosity eventually led me to create Notebook from the Valley.

Notebook from the Valley is an independent publication where I document and analyze the technologies, companies, events, people, and ideas shaping the future from Silicon Valley.

Through my writing, I explore topics including artificial intelligence, AI infrastructure, data centers, hardware, engineering, energy, entrepreneurship, defense technology, innovation, Stanford, Berkeley, Silicon Valley, and the broader forces shaping technological progress.

My work as a journalist and my work as an innovation judge increasingly complement each other. Both require looking beyond announcements and asking deeper questions: What is genuinely innovative? What technical problem is being solved? Can the technology scale? What infrastructure does it depend on? And what impact could it ultimately have?

Beyond my professional activities, I am passionate about learning, public service, and community engagement. I regularly participate in technology and innovation events across the Bay Area, contribute to local initiatives, and enjoy connecting with founders, students, researchers, and professionals interested in understanding how Silicon Valley actually works.

I am particularly interested in one question:

How do people, institutions, infrastructure, and technologies come together to create meaningful progress?

Notebook from the Valley is my attempt to explore that question.

When I’m not working, writing, or evaluating emerging technologies, you’ll usually find me at a conference somewhere in the Bay Area, exploring California, visiting Stanford or Berkeley, or meeting people who are building ambitious things.
